There are five compoments that must be decided upon in assembling a fabric-deployment system, They are the fabric, the lifting system, the valance (if any), the hem style, and whether light-control channel will be required to achieve the desired level of light control,

The sun creates both problems and opportunities for the window-shading expert. Virtually all of the homes and buildings in which people live and work have glass. We love the natural light that glass allows into our spaces, and the ability to see outside.

However, we don't love the glare we get on a TV or computer screen, or the strain it causes, and we definetly don't love faded carpet or fabric, or the discomfort of excessive heat. The problem is how to obtain the benefits of natural sunlight, and outside views without experiencing the problems caused by the sun.Window shading are designed to solve this problem no matter what sort of challenge the particular window may pise. Whether you are dealing with a small standard window, a very large window, a greenhouse, a sloped glass surface or curved glass, or an overhead skylight, whether you need functional shading alone, or functional shading with a designer look, when the sun is a problem, we have the answer.

The choice of a fabric depends entirely on what you want to accomplish. Do you want to screen the sun, but keep the view? Do you want privacy? Do you want to darken a room to enable your customer or yourself to sleep or to use a projector of some kind?

There is 5 differents types of fabrics:

Solar-sreen fabrics which is designed to filter the sun rather than block it out. With a solar-screen fabric, it is possible to stop enough of the sunlight to eliminate disconfort from heat and glare, damage to carpet or others, while still being able to see through the fabric to the outside.

Privacy fabrics which are translucent fabrics that allow light into a room while at the same time ensuring privacy. Though they allow light to enter, it is not possible to see throught them.

Darkroom fabrics which are designed to make a room dark enough to be able to sleep comfortably even when a window is fully exposed to sunlight. Though these fabrics come close to stopping all light, they do allow some light leakage.

Blackout fabrics which make it possible to prevent any light from entering the room. These kinds of fabrics are useful for rooms in which video or slide show presentations are made, or for any situation where a complete absence of light is desired

Decorative fabrics which are primarily used for the way they look. They can be screen type fabrics or privacy but their primary value is to add a design element to a given situation.

A lifting system is the method by which power is supplied to a fabric-deployment system in order to draw the fabric across or away froma window. Lifting systems are either manually operated, to one degree or another, or powered by motor. The selection of a ligting system is determinated by many factors inckuding suze of the shade, site conditions, cost, the type od fabric-deployment system being usedm and more.We have various lifting systems.

Cord and pullet which is a manual operated system used to lift folding shades. The advantages of this system are simplicity, reliability, and low cost.

Continuous chain which is a manual operated system used to lift folding shades or roll shades. The advantage of this system are its appearance. This is also a competitively priced, and very popular lifting system.

Wand operator which is a manually operated system used to draw a shade across or away from skylight glass. The advantages of theis system are simplicity, reliability, and low cost.

Spring roller which is a semi-manual system used to lift roll shades. The system consists of a roller tube which contains of a preloaded spring. When the bottom of the shade is pulled to release the shade stop, the spring provides power that lifts the shade and wraps the fabric around the tube. The advantage of this system are simplicity, low cost, and appearance.

Motors which is a motorized ligting systems that can be used to lift either folding shades or roll shades of any kind. The advantages of motorized systems include ease of operation, and being able to use switches, remote controls, or computerized controls to operate inacessible shades, to lift very heavy shades, to operate large or small groups of shades, to operate shades automatically by time of day, or in response to sun conditions, and more,
